  • Please be aware that any natural materials can vary in colour and pattern, these form part of the characteristics of natural materials and should not be treated as faults. Please be aware that once an order has been manufactured and delivered we cannot take responsibility for naturally occurring differences. We will ask for a non-refundable deposit for any bespoke/ made-to-order items. We will discuss your preferences in terms of style and colour before making such an order
  • Our bespoke oak beams can expand and contract over time, as to be expected in any natural wood product

  • Estimates on sizes and costs of materials needed may vary from the final cost in cases where we are opening up an original fireplace. The customer will be informed of any increase prior to payment should this be the case. Similarly, if we overestimate the cost of materials, costs will be deducted and the final invoice will clearly state the cost of materials used

  • Where a fireplace is opened up or increased in size, the finished dimensions of the recess will be guided by the original constructions of the chimney breast
  • Although we endeavour to enlarge the fireplace to suit the stove in your quote, we cannot guarantee that this will always be possible. In some circumstances an alternative stove may need to be chosen to ensure the distance between the stove and fireplace opening is in line with HETAS regulations. We will discuss this with you at the time and can recommend alternatives where appropriate

  • Your HETAS certificate will be posted directly from HETAS after the installation, please allow up to 30 days for its arrival. The certificate should be retained as this will be required in case of any future sale of the property
  • Should you misplace your certificate a charge of £5 will be made for a replacement. Alternatively you can contact HETAS directly for a reissue at any time

  • Pictures of our installations are periodically uploaded to our website and social media pages. Please let us know by email, or letter, if you do not give permission for photos of your installation to be used in this way

Please note: All quotes are based on our best estimate and are for completing the job as described, based on our initial evaluation.
